SCRC03
Automatic Reclosing Unit.
Sigma SCRC03, after temporary interruptions, features a separate accessory that attempts to re-energize the compatible residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) in three stages of 10, 60, and 300 s.

SHORT ANSWER
What is the purpose of SCRC03?
Sigma SCRC03, after temporary interruptions, features a separate accessory that attempts to re-energize the compatible residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) in three stages of 10, 60, and 300 s.
Important distinction: This product is not the residual current circuit breaker itself; it is an automatic reclosing accessory to be mounted alongside a compatible circuit breaker.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
How does reclosing occur?
- The operation of the residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) is detected.
- First reclosing is tested 10 seconds later.
- If the problem persists, the second attempt is made after 60 s, and the third attempt after 300 s.
- If three attempts fail, the fourth closure is not performed and the device is locked.
APPLICATION AREAS
For which loads is it evaluated?
- Appliances such as refrigerators and cold storage cabinets that require power continuity
- Alarm, modem and remote monitoring systems
- Pumps and access in installations where delay is possible
- Residential, shop, office and storage applications
Repeated tripping may indicate a permanent fault in the installation or equipment. Product selection, installation and commissioning should be carried out by a qualified electrician, checking the installation values.
SCRC03 residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) is it?
No. It is an automatic reclosing accessory mounted next to a compatible residual current circuit breaker.
How many times does it attempt to reclose?
Attempts three times with 10, 60, and 300 s (seconds); locks if issues persist.
Does it ignore the persistent fault?
No. It does not attempt to close again after three failed attempts; the cause of the repeated tripping should be investigated by an electrician.
